SDT is owned by Sidney Torres IV, a well known real estate developer and Louisiana native. Beginning with the development of the Melrose Group Hotel properties, and continuing with condominium and other commercial real estate projects, he has applied his expertise and attention to detail to construction projects all over the greater New Orleans area. One of his most recent developments is SDT Companies, one of the leading locally-owned and operated companies working on Hurricane Katrina recovery.
SDT Waste and Debris Services is one of Sidney Torres IV's newest companies. Although it was only established in 2005, it has grown quickly and is now one of the major competitors in the waste removal services. Torres and his team of 160 employees at SDT Waste and Debris are committed to helping the Metro area of New Orleans recover from the disaster of Hurricane Katrina.
SDT has all new equipment and a large fleet of quality MACK trucks. With a growing fleet of roll-off, rear/side loaders, and front load trucks, SDT is ready to serve the New Orleans metropolitan area. The ample supply of hundreds of 20, 30, and 40 yard containers allows SDT to provide the quickest service possible. SDT also has a large quantity of commercial containers ranging from 2 yards to 8 yards.
